1907 Savile Row shawl collar dinner jacket size 38

Up for grabs here is a super super rare item... A genuine shawl collar Edwardian DJ, and its Savile Row and dated. You see these in fashion plates of the time period and you commonly hear the adage that the 60's copied the Edwardian and post war fashions ( in the context of shawl collars) but have you ever actually seen one ? a genuine one not a 60's rework ? We haven't, in almost 20 years. Not only is it a shawl though, its probably the most dramatic and sculpted shawl you'll see. its also the oldest dated dinner jacket we've ever had. 

 That time period was embryonic for dinner wear and so the jackets tend to all be fairly unique. This particular one features a buttonless front, covered buttons, working cuff, jetted pockets and silk lining. Its actually fairly modern in that respect. Really a special item.
