J.C Wells 1938 bespoke dinner jacket size 48 long

For sale here we have a really quite rare and particularly outlandish 1938 bespoke DJ in a single breasted cut typical of the time. The jacket is a top end item with silk lining, working cuff, and a fine herringbone cloth. What’s perhaps more unusual though is the sheer girth of the lapels, probably the biggest we’ve seen. Perhaps part of this is due to yhe size of yhe jacket, which is very unusual for 1938, a 48 long.
