New Black velvet Victorian style waistcoat size 40

A vintage quality high fasten shawl collar velvet waistcoat copied from a genuine late Victorian piece. 

 We make to vintage standards, so there is no glue or ' interfusing' like everyone else is doing, instead a fine canvas layer. The adjuster buckle is original NOS 1920's pronged type like all old waistcoats had and the buttons have a proper shank on them to improve the look and ease of fastening. 

 In keeping with the vintage buying experience we have made all items unique. This particular item is made of black velvet ( sorry we can't say what the composition is but feels like a cotton viscose mix, you can't buy the nice old silk anymore but this is a good substitute). The back is a bemberg and the lining is a fine striped cotton.

Armpit to armpit  - 21

** This is a regular fit, designed to cover the waistband of a mid-high rise trouser on a gent up to and including 5'11. obviously however this really depends on trouser height and the wearers proportions.
