A vintage quality silk morning waistcoat copied from a 1930's bespoke waistcoat. We make these to vintage standards, so there is no glue or ' interfusing' like everyone else is doing, instead a fine canvas layer. . The adjuster buckle is original NOS 1920's pronged type like all old waistcoats had and the buttons have a proper shank on them to improve the look and ease of fastening. In addition we have added button preparation for waistcoat slips*

 In keeping with the vintage buying experience we have made all items unique. This particular item is made of silk (70% silk/30%viscose) with a slate grey silk lining and silk (70/30) back. Breathable and comfortable to wear.

** This is a regular fit, designed to cover the waistband ( all around)  of a trouser worn at the naval on a man of 5'8-5'11. This will generally be easier with traditional height trouser, modern hip height trousers won't work.

The DB waistcoats due to their nature may not sit completely flat at the front on all bodies. If this is the case and you want the lapels to sit flat you may want to move the central retaining button or the main buttons, with a tailor,
