 For sale here we have a new Marcella 100% cotton white tie waistcoat in double breasted shawl cut. The pattern was copied from a 20’s item and vitally improved in terms of the sliding neck adjustment. Also featuring proper shank button design ( not included), trouser button retainer, NOS 1920’s buckle and Marcella back strap. Please note that this initial example has the buckle stitched in place rather than a button to retain it ( break down in communication with the tailor) therefore we’d recommend unstitching this if you want to boil wash it at some point to avoid the buckle becoming rusty.

** This is a regular fit, designed to cover the waistband ( all around)  of a trouser worn at the naval on a man of 5'8-5'11. This will generally be easier with traditional height trouser, modern hip height trousers won't work.

 Please be aware that the item our linen waistcoats, unless ironed professionally will always show creasing and texture. These new waistcoats are all handmade individually and have not been cleaned, they may have small traces of tailors chalk but this will come out with a sponge or in the first dry clean.
