vintage 1920's peak lapel dinner jacket size 42

For sale here we have a very nice early peak lapel dinner jacket by Vidcosky of Reading. Whats unusual here is that you have all the hall marks of an Edwardian period jacket - covered buttons, black and gold label, drop shoulder seams, cutaway hem, curved sleeve etc... but with a big 30's lapel. An educated guesser may stick their neck out and say that this was an old school Jewish tailor who'd moved to England and kept up his more traditional tailoring but with a fashionable peak lapel, and made it a big one. Very cool looking jacket in real life, the mannequin shots make it look more ' normal' than it is. Its really quite curvy and hangs beautifully in real life.

Fit -  42 reg, slight tummy. 

Condition - Excellent for the age, just some damage around the lining up by the collar.
