Vintage Edwardian 1920's silk velvet court dress uniform tailcoat size 38 long

For sale here is an early century silk velvet court dress tailcoat with silk lining and silk sleeve lining. The buttons look to be original but aren't the cut steel type you normally see so perhaps this was a ' Sheriff of the county ' tailcoat ?
